Phil Mazo is a comedic filmmaker and viral content creator known for his absurd, deadpan tone and twist-driven storytelling—once dubbed "the M. Night Shyamalan of comedy."

His docu-comedy, Replay, achieved nationwide theatrical distribution via Spotlight Cinema Networks' curated preshow, won the Audience Choice Award for Documentary Short at the 2025 Calgary International Film Festival, and is now on the Academy Screening Room in the Documentary Short Film category.

Mazo’s viral comedy videos have amassed nearly 100 million views from audiences across the globe, often incorporating silent film techniques that transcend language barriers. His biggest hit so far, His heart goes out to you (35M+ views), was hailed by fans as “absolute cinema”—while his latest hit, Couldn’t help myself (2M+ views), had one fan proclaiming “there is a special place in heaven for whoever made this.”
